Peak History

For over thirty-five years Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse has been serving mesquite-grilled steaks in Southern California. There are three Pinnacle Peak locations, San Dimas, Santee and Colton. When you arrive at Pinnacle Peak you are at the Pinnacle of true western dinning pleasure. We proudly maintain the Wild West spirit of hospitality and country cooking. The atmosphere is always casual, so be sure to leave your necktie at home unless you want it swinging from the rafters along with the thousands of neckties in our collection.

Our first steakhouse in Southern California was our San Dimas location. It was opened in 1967, followed by El Cajon (now Santee) in 1968, and finally Colton in 1970. San Dimas is still at its original location. Santee was moved from its original location in El Cajon to the present location in 1984. Colton is still on the original property.

From the beginning, Pinnacle Peak has always had the tradition of offering to the customer, great value, huge portions, and low prices, and we still believe this today. We have served many satisfied customers over the years. Many of our customers are second and third generation folk, who bring their children just like their parents brought them to Pinnacle Peak.
