Pinnacle Peak is known for their delicious mesquite broiled steak, huge portions, and "NO TIES ALLOWED" policy.

The tradition began one night when we first opened. A customer (city folk) came into the restaurant wearing (can you imagine?) a suit and tie. We took offense (wanting to keep the atmosphere casual) and told the customer "Either you take off that tie or we'll cut it off". The customer did not heed and was appalled when we cut off his tie.

We proudly hung the tie on a rafter with a business card attached to recognize the customer's loss of his tie, so all could see that:


Thus, the tradition began. In upholding this tradition we have cut off tens of thousands of neckties from unsuspecting customers. You can find them in the rafters of both of our locations in San Dimas and Colton California
